How much of a time commitment is required?

It’s completely up to you! You may not have a lot of free time, and want to simply make a tax-deductible donation to the giving circle because you know that your donation will go to a great organization that has been thoroughly researched by people you know and trust. Maybe you’re interested in finding out more about nonprofits and want to help decide where our funds will be directed, but don’t have the time to volunteer. In that case, you can work on the philanthropy side and help us research worthy causes. Or maybe reviewing grant applications doesn’t sound appealing to you, but you want to participate in some or all of the volunteer events. That’s fine too! If your kids are grown and you have the time and desire to make a meaningful contribution to the community, you can participate in everything! You can participate as little or as much as you want – it’s completely up to you!

How do I get involved?

It’s very simple. Make an annual, tax-deductible, donation of at least $300, which is pooled with others for the greatest impact in the community. As a member, you get to vote on the project to fund, propose new programs, participate in volunteer events, meet new and old friends, and generally help make this group your own. After your first year if you decide that it’s not for you, there is no commitment or pressure to renew. If you’re interested in finding out more, contact us!
